Come join us and taste the “Asiático Coffe”, alcoholic drink based on coffe, typical from Cartagena, it contains: coffe, condensed milk and Licor 43.
The origin of the recipe (“Asiático Coffe”) as we know it today dates back to the 1940s, when it was prepared by Pedro Conesa Ortega in his establishment Albujón (Cartagena), the Pedrín bar.
The drink however was already known before, with variations, by fishermen of Cartagena, which used to carry a coffee of poor quality (“recuelo”), brandy and milk, which helped them keep warm and clear during slaughter.
